Weekly blog 3

Monday:Labor Day! NO Classes!

Tuesday:Today I was so tired as usual, because yesterday was labor day and we had a lot of fun. We started today off with our daily science starter which was copying down our homework and getting a handout. Then, got back our lab, I was so happy when I saw my grade because it was good. We then looked at the handout which was about relative dating. We drew some diagrams about the way earths layers age, and we labeled a diagram on the other side. This seemed like a good review for us, and a good studying tool. After this we reviewed the sections on the quiz that we have tomorrow, I feel like I am ready for this quiz, I still have to review my notes tonight. Then we finished the radiometric dating lab, all I had to do were some questions and then in the box it goes. That is all we did today, today I felt wasn't a too bad day.

Wednesday:Today was the big day for the quiz. I felt like I was ready and I really hope that I get a good grade on it. I hope that I am going to get an A or a B. The quiz was a little bit harder than I thought that it would be but it is ok, because I still understand what the material was about. I am not feeling ok with one of my short answer questions because that question was about the only thing that I did not have down. After we took the quiz we just blogged, that is all we did today.

Thursday:Today Mrs.G wasn't in so we had a substitute named Mr.Batten. Today we got our quizzes back and I didn't really feel the best about my grade, I didn't fail but I didn't get and A. I need to improve my study habits and I also need to focus better in class. We didn't have a science starter today but we did review our quiz. After reviewing our quiz we worked on our vocabulary cards. We had to do nine words, I am done with eight and I have to finish my last one tonight. This is really all we id today. To me, science class went by pretty fast.

Friday: It is finally Friday! Today we started class with our daily science starter. The science starter was about half lives on the graph. We did that then we did the last section of our notes, the last slides were so so long, they were like essays. But it was ok because we didn't have to do that today. We also had a practice lock down today. We hid in the corner of the room for about 5 minutes, it was fun to me. After that happened we got straight back to our notes. In the very end of our class Mrs.G showed us a 1000 sheet toilet paper role that had the history of the earth on it. If you look at it carefully you notice that we are only a little part of the earth's mankind. After that we looked a short video relating to that. That is pretty much all we did today.

Improvements: I could improve on my study hobbies and I need to spent more time everyday looking over the text in class that we covered.

This is Mrs.G's toilet paper, she is not finished yet.
